John has 35 years of experience as a senior executive in private, government and non-profit organizations. His experience includes public and private project development and finance in real estate, manufacturing, infrastructure and agriculture in the United States and Latin America, as well as trade development and finance experience worldwide. John has held senior positions in the governments of Washington State and Mexico in which he oversaw and coordinated trade negotiations, economic development projects, investment programs and policies and international agreements in infrastructure, health and education. John has been involved on the boards of more than 18 non-profit organizations in the United States and Mexico, including the Red Cross, Rotary International, the Washington Council on International Trade and the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, where he served on the bi-national board of directors and as the President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter. He has also served on advisory boards for the US Department of Commerce, US EXIM Bank and participated as a delegate for the US Treasury Department to the Inter American Development Bank. John’s areas of expertise include project development and finance, land use and environmental planning and government relations.
